MEETING OF JULY 8th, 2015.

Debbie very kindly took notes on the meeting in my absence, but when I tried to copy & paste, they would not show up.  So will have to retype.

Vicky Kmet opened the meeting at 10.05.

Katherine McM shared news that AQS is running behind with acceptance into the Chattanooga Quilt Show.

Beverly Sweeney's grand daughter, Rachael Lane, visiting, shared her T-shirt quilt.

Gayle's UFO, & Beverly Bill.. Dogwood Applique were shown, but I am not finding the photos.

Josie had 3 charity quilts.

In other news, Kathleen McM receives Honorable Mention from Cobb Co quilt show.

Sharon Grif... shares a pattern Linda Smit... taught her on a w/e trip.  (Note to this, Sharon to teach how to make this star in August meeting.  Kathleen to send out supply list)

Josie shares finished quilts.

Vicky shares a block to go in a QWV in progress, also child's quilt named "Convoy" from Buggy Barn, a pattern can be found at Amazon.

Helen shares a hand crocheted find, a wishbone with a thimble holder.

Linda Sma visits for show & tell, - nice.

I like this, but find no explanation for it.

Cee Cee shared numerous quilts, one modern, one for 6'4" man, one Asian, one abstract art quilt.  (Did not find photos)

PROGRAM:

Kathleen McM gave a demo for making a card holder.

It is made like the birthing a cuddle quilt that Denise gave.

The meeting then adjourns to enjoy refreshments brought by members.
