We didn't have a meeting per se, but a working bee as this was the last meeting before the AQS Quiltweek Chattanooga, being held at the Convention Center Sept 10-13, 2014.
We worked on adapting the aprons for our volunteer hosts/hostesses, & on creating tags for the Package Check In.
We had sewing machines humming along, irons going & others pinning & snipping apron threads. The guillotine cutters did a good job & even got moving on the numbering of the tags.
Great job everyone, & thanks so much for your hard work.
Deb also thought there wasn't enough food coming, so got everyone in a food mood days prior to the meeting, with the results being a feast. Thank you to those that provided us such wonderful nourishment. And I should chastise the person that brought cookies & didn't take them back home, - I just had to try the one I thought said Health cookie, but in reality said Heath cookie! Wow, - if my pants don't fit in a couple of days, - it's your fault!
Zoom zoom go the machines!
Chop, chop go the blades.
Yum yum, go the ladies.
And we all had a good time & accomplished our goals.
Due to AQS Quiltweek, there will be no meeting in September.
Next meeting: October 8th, 2014.
See you at the show! Fun, fun.
